The only part I had trouble with was the final battle, and that was because they glossed over/eliminated the idea that after all, Harry did not actively kill Voldemort.Lisa Gail Greenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03648323153868702165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8054321507843915764.post-22772296030263895792011-07-18T21:39:24.371-05:002011-07-18T21:39:24.371-05:00Thanks for the comment, Tina. Thanks for the comment, Tina.TS Tatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08136046279949457221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8054321507843915764.post-6048161274504239712011-07-18T12:43:22.389-05:002011-07-18T12:43:22.389-05:00Great review! I can't believe we're saying goodbye to Hogwarts and the world that Rowling so masterfully created. Unlike many, I liked the epilogue and felt it wrapped up the series very nicely.Tina Mosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09892617933410379929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8054321507843915764.post-10932324437163346892011-07-17T14:54:24.604-05:002011-07-17T14:54:24.604-05:00Thanks for commenting, guys. That was the part that had me sobbing in the book.

I hated the epilogue in the book, but in the movie it worked quite well. There was something a lot less fan-fiction about it, probably because movies can't be such a laundry lists of facts like books can (and that epilogue was, in the book).Jaimie Teekellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07845537262456320501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8054321507843915764.post-75179158689532585922011-07-17T06:56:17.427-05:002011-07-17T06:56:17.427-05:00Lovely, Tee!

I enjoyed the movie as well. ...Great review, Tee. I enjoyed the movie as well. Fyi Gambon, not Gabbon..lol. Im sure your excitement to write just got the better of you. Throughout your review, I felt completely the same way. I didnt get emotional and Im sad that I didnt but it was probably because I expected it. It also could have been that I was so aggravated with the lady next to us that I was too preoccupied to grieve. Even seeing Lavender lay dead was saddening, as was Tonks and Lupin (**on a side note, i wish they movies had acknowledged more of their child than it did). I definitely agree with the King's Cross scene. It really came to light almost exactly as I had pictured it, even the fetal Voldemort (though less bloody), and for some reason I pictured him under a chair rather than a bench. One of the other scenes I really appreciated was Narcissa's sympathy for Harry's response that Draco was alive. As for the Harry/Voldy twisty flying through the sky scene, I too thought that was a bit odd, but if that is the only quirk that I had with the movie, then I'm ok with that. I had wished the Epilogue was a bit more, but just a tad. I thought they aged Harry quite well...Ginny, not as much (more the hairdo than anything). I think it's funny how much Ron resembled Cattermole's character. Very sad to see it end, as I feel like I closed a chapter in my own life, but fortunately, unlike life, I can re-watch, reread, and re-experience Potter over and over again.Tiffany Vnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8054321507843915764.post-64476544431581849472011-07-15T17:10:37.171-05:002011-07-15T17:10:37.171-05:00Thanks, Laverne.
